The War between China and USA
During this month, both USA and China closed a consulate in each other's country. By now, the two superpowers are on the brink of a hot war, which I warned last year when Christmas apples were prohibited to sell on campus in China.
As for the cause of this diplomatic breakup, in my opinion, it is because President Trump disagreed with Beijing's proposal for ignoring the promises that China made for attending WTO. Truly, Beijing has never fulfilled any duty to other WTO members.
The revolution in Hongkong might be another reason that annoyed Beijing enough to worsen its relationship with Washington. Since the beginning of the conflict, China has blamed USA for interfering in Hongkong affairs. Consequently, Beijing deepened the breakup with Washington.
